A homage to pine trees and mountainous terrain, Pine Valley offers a secluded escape high above the heat of Southern Utah. Located only 45 minutes north of St. George via Highway 18, Pine Valley is a favorite among visitors and locals alike. Many choose to camp, fish for rainbow trout along the shores of Pine Valley Reservoir, or hike and horse ride along the endless trails found throughout the valley.
For something different, take a tour of the Pine Valley Chapel. Built by Ebanezer Bryce, a former ship builder, and constructed it in relation to an upside down ship, with the ceiling beams barreling just as the hull of a boat would. Continue your tour into town and explore historical homes and cabin bungalows familiar to the area. And for a good meal, stop by the Brandin Iron Steakhouse, where menu options include delicacies like prime rib and salmon.
