Instagram Stars of St. George

Stay connected with the hottest Instagram accounts in St. George! Here are a few of our personal favorites we’ve been following:

For Branding & Stock Photography: @heartakethewheel

An account with feed to be envious of, Glady of @heartakethewheel specializes in all things brand and stock photography. Her images aim for minimal aesthete, with white spaces, greenery accents, chic workspaces, & boho vibes. (Being a fellow plant lover, we managed to connect over our horticultural fascination) With playful compositions and festive subject matter, businesses and entrepreneurs alike flock to her page for professional images.

Being a Nevada native, Glady discovered a passion for photography when taking classes at the College of Southern Nevada. However, she soon transferred to Dixie State University to pursue a degree in psychology.  After graduating, she worked for the state for 4 years, until escaping to Europe for 30 days. The rest goes as follows: she spent all her money, returned to the states feeling inspired and started her photography business in 2016. Since then, she has seen tremendous success – with roughly 60% of her clients originating from Instagram.

She also works as a mentor for the St. George photography education guild where she collaborates with other local photographers. To browse her fab photos and learn more about Glady, follow her HERE!

    For All Things Local: @thebestofstgeorge

At just over 2,300 followers, The Best of St. George is one HOT account to follow. With a goal of promoting all things local – from family owned restaurants, to home based businesses, boutiques, and small shops alike – they feature and film local businesses to highlight what makes St. George so special! Join them on their photo & film adventures as they expose the very best of St. George by following them HERE!

    For Interior Design: @kristenbrooksby-design

We like to call Kristen’s design aesthetic “southwest meets mid century modern meets modern chic” (not the catchiest, but we’re working on it)

Kristen has designed countless custom homes, including the 2018 St. George Parade of Homes, The Aalto, (a personal favorite of ours) as well as community and commercial projects throughout the United States. With over 12 years of industry experience, Kristen earned her degree in interior design from The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles and is based right here in St. George. View past projects and learn more about Kristen HERE.

    For Graphic Design: @meg_design_

A recent Dixie State University grad, Megan earned her degree in graphic design and is currently working as a freelance designer. Inspired by the southwest and great outdoors, many of her designs include mountain illustrations and camping logos. Our personal favorites include her national park patches and plant lady stickers (of course!). See all products and purchase her work HERE.

    For Home Photography: @bestphotographystg

Our personal photographer (and personal favorite) Dezaray Best is a vital piece to our success! If you’re in the real estate business, you know how impertinent it is to hire a professional photographer. First impressions can certainly make or break a sale. To make your listings look their best, give Dezaray a follow, HERE!

For Special Occasion Photography, Group Sessions, & Newborns: @meganleechphoto

Fun fact about Megan: she took our team photos back when there were only 4 of us! Professional, efficient, and creative, Megan has an excellent eye for composition and lighting. She knows exactly where and how to pose you – a virtue when you’re an awkward, rowdy bunch like ourselves – and will deliver quality results in a timely manner. If I haven’t convinced you to use Megan yet, check out her work for yourself, HERE.

    For Homemade Cookies: @thecookiekitchenbakery

I’ll take three of each, please – maybe more… (no shame) The Cookie Kitchen Bakery is an at-home bakery specializing in creating gourmet cookies by the dozens. Enjoy mouth watering creations, like raspberry lemonade sugar cookies, to seasonal Cadbury confetti, toasted coconut, s’mores, and more! Be the ultimate host and have your next big event catered by the Cookie Kitchen Bakery by ordering HERE.

    For Salads: @thesaladshoppe

Salad in a jar? Yes please! The Salad Shoppe is another innovate, at-home business operating primarily from Instagram. Select from delectable options, like sweet pork, summer veggie, nuts and berries, or southwest chicken cobb. Flavors vary each week, and are available for pick up Mondays after 6:00 pm. Prices include 3 for $21, 5 for $35 & 10 for $65 +$1/ jar unless you provide your own. Learn more HERE.

    For Handmade Soap: @ashleymariesoap

All natural and hand made, Ashley’s soothing soap is free from harmful chemicals like synthetic fragrance oils, sodium laurel sulfate, parabens, phthalates, petroleum by-products and artificial coloring/preservatives. Good and good for you, She believes in crafting a fresh product with nourishing qualities that literally ‘feed your skin.’ See her full line of products here.
